Ingrid & Henry
I met Ingrid and Henry at a local coffeeshop in Bellevue on a sunny day at the beginning of Summer. You know when you just get a good vibe from someone without logical explanation? Well, that’s what it felt like with them.
Fast forward to their wedding day: both the ceremony and reception were held at WithinSodo, a hidden yet perfectly beautiful location in the industrial district of Seattle. While the venue was being set up for the reception, I had the opportunity to chat with the couple and document them getting ready. So much of it felt very much like my own wedding; even though we had seen each other before the ceremony, butterflies were fluttering away in our bellies! 🦋
Then came the ceremony. The garlands swayed in the wind and Henry waited anxiously for Ingrid to walk down the aisle. His reaction, their romantic and intimate vows, brought me to tears as I snapped away capturing every moment I could. Their emotions were palpable, felt by everyone listening to their words and commitments, how grateful they were for each other. That is, by far, my favourite wedding moment.
Another big congrats to the newly weds, and thank you so much Ingrid and Henry for allowing me to capture the preciousness of your wedding day. Wishing you a lifetime of happiness and love!
So, I hope you enjoy these photos just as much as I enjoyed creating them!
